Patient Day 2020: Live Your Best Life with Endo

As chair of EndoFound’s Patient Day 2020, I’m honored to invite you to our 2020 Patient Day, an informative day of presentations and panels to help you live your best life with endometriosis.

Effective management options

We put Patient Day’s program together based on my personal experience as an endo patient and the feedback of many patients and our patient advisory committee. EndoFound and SEC support excision surgery as the gold standard for endometriosis treatment. But we also believe it is incredibly important and beneficial for patients to pursue effective management options. So, we brought together a faculty of researchers, doctors, nutritionists, therapists, and patients to help you live your best life with endo. From hormone balance and exercise to insurance coverage and fertility, Patient Day will work to uncover the truth in every arena of this disease for women of every age.

Advocacy, fundraising, and awareness

We also agree that there isn’t enough research being conducted. There is also not enough government funding given towards endometriosis, so we will learn the necessary tools and steps required to expand our collective advocacy, fundraising, and awareness goals.

This is your voice on stage. We believe that living with endo requires a collaborative and interdisciplinary effort that prioritizes the patient’s voice. This Patient Day, we hope to work together to make this disease more manageable. We also aim to advocate in our respective states and to meet other endo patients and advocates.

Please join me and Dr. Seckin in this vital conversation on March 14th, 2020, at The Alexandria Center in New York City. Registration and breakfast begin at 8 A.M. Presentations will conclude at 5:30 P.M, followed by a cocktail reception until 7 P.M.
