I suffered from sharp pains in my lower abdomen area

For almost 2 years, I suffered from sharp pains in my lower abdomen area.  The pain was knee buckling and unpredictable!! 

My cycles were unbearable for months.  I was bleeding uncontrollably every month. It got the point where it was affecting my job and my social life.  I never knew if I would have “accidents” (staining sheets, couches, etc) because my bleeding was so heavy. I constantly lived in pain and fear of my cycles.   

In January 2015, I had my first surgery to remove fibroids.  The 1st surgeon claimed this would relieve my heavy bleeding and that the pain I was experiencing would go away.  Unfortunately, after this 5-hour surgery, the pain came back with a vengeance by the following cycle.  I had significant lower back pain as well.  I asked my Doctor #1 if I had endometriosis, but she claimed to not find any signs of endometriosis.  

From February – June, I continued to suffer from pain and heavy bleeding and finally decided to search for an Endometriosis specialist and that is when I came across Dr. Seckin’s profile.  I read many reviews, similar to this one, and decided to give him a try. THANK GOODNESS I DID!!! 

He sent me for an MRI and was the first to acknowledge that I did, indeed, have endometriosis.  His bedside manner was excellent.  He was patient and informative and really seemed to understand the pain and discomfort I had been experiencing for the past 2 years. 

One day in June, I ended up the in the ER due to the extreme pain.  A few weeks after this incident, I had my surgery with Dr. Seckin.  After the surgery, he fully explained what happened during the surgery and even showed me a video!!! I was able to see first hand where the endometriosis had spread.  

A week after the surgery my back pain went away and I am now in the recovery stage.  The endometriosis had spread to my bladder, Fallopian tube, and ovaries!!! 

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Seckin. I don’t know where I would have been without his expertise. I highly recommend anyone suffering from endometriosis to visit his office.

I just wanted to write this review to let other women know that they are not alone in this fight against endometriosis.  They have an advocate in Dr. Seckin.  He is an amazing surgeon and I highly, highly recommend this doctor.
