The event will take place inside NYC’s Lenox Hill Hospital for the second year in a row. This year’s theme will be “Healthy Mind & Happy Pelvis”.

For last year’s endometriosis patient day, an audience of more than 200 crowded into the hospital’s Einhorn Auditorium. Here, they listened to presentations from speakers about eating an endometriosis-friendly diet, egg-freezing, pelvic physical therapy, and even experienced a live, endo-friendly yoga session. Expert panels also engaged in Q&A sessions with the audience.

For those who couldn’t make it to NYC, the event was also available live on the official Facebook page for EndoFound.

“Endometriosis is a disease of the whole body and mind. It causes pain that stems from inflammation within the pelvis,” EndoFound’s Founder and event organizer Dr. Tamer Seckin, said in a statement. “Throughout the day, we will engage you in conversation and provide expert knowledge about nutrition and exercise to research and advocacy.”
