
Amanda Chu, MD is a Board Certified Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon who joined Seckin Endometriosis Center in 2021 to focus on complex endometriosis care.
Dr. Chu’s Background
Dr. Chu completed her medical school education at SUNY Stony Brook University (Stony Brook, NY) and her OB/GYN residency at Lenox Hill Hospital (New York, NY). There she first met and trained under Dr. Tamer Seckin. She became interested in multi-organ endometriosis and its implications on pain, fertility, and quality of life.
She later completed a 2 year Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Hospital (Hershey, PA), where she further developed skills in the treatment of endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain.
Dr. Chu’s Interests
Dr. Chu continues to be involved in a clinical trial at Penn State Health involving the use of sublingual Cannabidiol (CBD) and its effect on endometriosis-related pain.
